THE NAME
Navalyve (pronounced nuv-ah-live), is more than a name — it’s a reflection of both identity and vision. Nuv-ah means “new” in the Sikh culture, while lyve represents re-imagining the way we live and design. The name draws inspiration from both Sikh and English language roots, reflecting a fusion of cultures and perspectives that shape our design philosophy.
This balance mirrors our approach to design. At Navalyve, we believe that spaces should honor the stories of those who inhabit them while embracing the possibilities of contemporary and modern living. Just as our name connects two worlds, our work connects people to their homes and workplaces in ways that feel both meaningful and forward-looking.
Navalyve is about more than creating buildings — it’s about crafting environments that inspire, restore and redefine the way you lyve.

ME
Many designers sketched and doodled when they were kids. Me, I was no different. Whether it was a 3D box, cartoons, or painting, as a kid I loved to put pencil to paper. As I got older my desire transitioned to learning more about the art of building design. I attended school at BCIT and happily graduated with my Bachelor Degree in Architectural Science in 2012. For the last 13+ years I have worked on various projects throughout the province.
While working on residential, commercial, and institutional projects in the past, I have had the privilege to gain a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience within this industry and throughout the lower mainland. My main focus has always been attention to detail and a sense of connection when designing and working with clients. Sometimes change is needed to evolve, and so I decided to start my own design services.
I was born and raised in Abbotsford, BC, and the outdoors has always been a big part of my life. I love staying active and spending time with family and friends — whether it’s a game of basketball, a night of ice hockey, or a good session at the gym. In the winter you’ll usually find me on the slopes, and when summer comes around, I’m happiest camping, out on the boat, or in the water. If it weren't for my loving wife pushing me to evolve, I probably wouldn't be here. Thank you for the amazing support. Oh, and thank you to Kygo as well, our little fur-ball.
